Patrick: "The basic idea for this film came from a lot of discussions that Jordan and I, and others, have had over the past couple of years. We were really interested in exploring the dangerous effects of the quest for some higher form of consciousness, as well as the merits of it. The film was inspired by the work of Grant Morrison and Alan Moore, but there's also a lot of original stuff in there as well."
